He Cares
There are times when we feel overwhelmed by situations that we face in our daily living. Intimidating circumstances surround us and the spirit of fear just creeps in at the same time causing us to give in or give up hope. The mind is usually filled with dout and like Peter, we find ourselves sinking in the situation or the sea of the circumstances. In Matthew 14:28-29, it says, 'And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.' However, Peter started focusing on the boisterious wind, as a result, dout and fear crept into him and became afraid and he started to sink. However, he was brave enough to shout for help to the one who could save him, the Lord. Praise be to the Lord, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, Jesus stretched out His arm and saved Peter from drowning. The Most High God is able, He is mighty and He is faithful. Our help comes the Lord, He who made heaven and earth, it is He who protects Israel, He neither slumbers nor sleeps, He will not let your foot be moved (Ps 121). Our God answers our prayers. Lets not get weary but persevere in prayer (2 Thes 5:17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you). 1 Pet 5:7 says Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.

It is amazing that our Lord is a great God, what is impossible with man is possible with Him. He maketh a way where there is no way, in Isaiah 43:19 it says, .....I willmake a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Again in verse 16 He says, Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters.. .There is no one who is like our God, let us worship Him and give Him all the praise and honour today.

I really feel humbled by the love of God that He lavished on me, while I was a sinner He loved me and through the riches of His grace, He rescued me from the power of darkness.
